Content writing at its best- The Declaration of Independence.

Approaching this Fourth of July weekend, I am reminded of the significance of this holiday. The Declaration of Independence and the strength and power of its words are celebrated on this day.

We hold these truths….

Content in any forum or channel is meant to spark an interest, emotion, or action. The Preamble, with its emphatic tone of strength and fortitude, clearly conveys the vision of the authors,

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness.”

Perhaps it is because I was a Political Science major, but I rarely celebrate the 4th of July without thoughts of the Declaration of Independence. My pen is nowhere near as mighty as those who penned the Declaration, but it is inspiring, and I feel compelled to remember it.

Our families, towns, and country are facing difficult times. “Normal life’ as we have come to know and love it, is in a state of flux. So, let’s come together and celebrate this 4th of July.

We wish you a happy and healthy long weekend and please, be safe and be kind to each other.
